How can I enable a browser proxy for only some URLs and not for every page I visit?

In most of the regular browser setups, this will be impossible to accomplish. The only way to enable proxy for certain IPs is to use special browser extensions. For example, in Firefox, you can install FoxyProxy and add a custom script that will automatically route all of certain URLs through the proxy.
